Butterflies at the Stiperstones Inn

Butterflies at the Stiperstones Inn

We have several buddleia bushes in the pub garden. They are often a haven for butterflies but I have never seen so many as there were today. They were of several varieties and seemed to prefer the white flowers to the purple.

I think I spotted tortoise shell, red admirals and peacocks – you can use this woodland trust site to identify local species.
