I have been keeping myself amused for the last few years by competing in the Cobblestone Fantasy Cycling League. This season kicks off with the Tour Down Under and the Cadel Evans in Australia. The web site ProCyclingStats and the live and highlight coverage on Discovery Plus keeps me up to date with riders, teams, results, and entries.

Shropshire Runners Ian Simmonds (423) and Victoria Doran (335) are in the Spine South Challenger. Phil Clarke is on support – you can follow their progress on the Shropshire Fell Running Facebook group.
Spine Challenge underway
The incredibly difficult Spine Challenge Events crossing the Pennines in winter are underway, the Sprint South started 5 hours ago, with the main event starting 8.00am in the morning.

Marches LDWA updates
New social walks on the Marches Website, the Cakewalk filled within a few days, I can’t believe how popular our challenge walks are. Our next meeting at the Red Barn in Shrewsbury, 7.30pm on Tuesday 3rd Feb.
